Nice shooter with great background scrolling effect. This game definitely has potential, even on slower OCS Amiga's. Our German-language review can be found in our recorded livestream starting at 05:10:17. English subtitles are also available. Subscription to our YouTube and Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂
It is indeed an honor you stopped by to take a look at this humble demo!
I sincerely hope to do justice to the Insanity Fight legacy, whilst the game mechanics are different, it is very much in the spirit of the original. However, it will not be complete without some screen filling epic cut scenes ;)
Have blatantly "borrowed" the original game's logo design, I hope with your blessing!
Runs great on my 68000@14MHz and I just love it. The background gfx is stunning man. I also love how the gfx is so perfect for the Amiga PAL resolution. It is also very fun to play. People will go crazy about this :D Hope you will continue and make this a full game cause you are right on track :D
Thank you so much, am glad you have enjoyed this demo. It is in the spirit of the original but twisted towards more chaotic shooters of the 90s. If there is interest in this then of course will continue development. Really sorry to everyone who are disappointed by the sound, it was literally a last minute thing! That is something that will get a complete overhaul for future updates.
If you need beta-testers I like to help out :) I have all kind of Amiga hardware to test the game and beta tested Amiga games like Turbo Tomato and Inviyya :)
On standard A500 hardware the game is to slow but with standard A1200 it runs almost perfect. To put it other way the game requirements should be standard A1200 speed or better, OCS gfx.
I just tried the original. Would be cool if you added the barriers with the laser from the original game :)
Thank you for your offer, if you are on EAB I can reach out to you there in the near future.
This was not particularly well tested or optimized whatsoever. I put it through WinUAE with an A600 and 68010 CPU selected, seemed to run fairly well, but this is not particularly conclusive!
I think a lot can be done with OCS but for sure, a 14Mhz CPU will be more than sufficient to run this well. Perhaps can dial this down to 30 fps for low spec machines, will see.

Great game, but please, where is the update? :) We are craving for more... :D
Thank you for trying it out! There will be updates I promise. Development will resume again later in the year for sure.

Hello re-h#ASH
congratulations on this cool game. The graphics are great and it's fun to play. I'm really looking forward to the final version.
BTW: I am the coder of the original Insanity Fight from 1987 :-)
Thank you Chris for your comments.

And it's a great honour for me that someone is making a sequel to my game. A big thank you already.
I'm sure that Insanity Fight 2 will be something really great.
No problem that you borrowed the logo. If you need anything else from the original, feel free to use it.
Good luck!
this is looking great!

Sure :) Can you pm me at EAB. My handle is nikosidis. Yes, was also thinking about lower fps on standard A500 could be an option :)
omg. the original was my first Amiga shmup!
mine to :)
Awesome game!
Thank you for this video Saberman. There is a minor visual glitch with the boss turrets when destroyed!
